Deck maintenance at Our Place is an annual event. Every year we apply one coat of stain/sealer. Our goal is to have the wood keep a natural color for everyone’s enjoyment.

Parking space is not an issue.

The master bedroom downstairs includes patio doors that open onto the patio.

From the Guest House, a nice view of the hot tub deck, water toys, and the boat dock. This picture was taken soon after one of the annual deck maintenance coatings.

The hot tub is a wonderful place to spend a few minutes in the evenings.

When you think of where you want to spend a long weekend, think of relaxing at Our Place.

The oak trees are wonderful for their shade in the summer.

Fall at Our Place is beautiful! Then the leaves fall out of the trees, and we go into leaf removal mode. |

Many folks enjoy sitting out on the boat dock or the swimming deck that is attached. It is almost always possible to catch a breeze and some shade on the boat dock.

| |

The Water World toys will be found either on the boat dock or near the boat launch ramp.

Little children are welcome on Lenny, but poor Lenny can’t handle adults!

Great-Grandmother celebrated her 80th birthday at Our Place a couple of years ago. If you have a birthday, anniversary or special day in your family while you are at Our Place, please let Pattie know. I’m sure she will set up a special surprise!

When we have time for a break, we still love to go out on the lake in both fall and winter. It is the quietest time on the lake, and one of the most beautiful. You may not want to swim, but the scenery is wonderful and the fishing is good, too (See Fishing Page!).
|
| |

The lake in the winter is cool, quiet and calm.

In the spring dogwoods are visible by the hundreds, possibly the thousands, on the drive from Bagnell Dam to Shawnee Bend 3. Come see for yourself sometime! |

Blooming of the dogwood trees.
